Erin commemorated Brandon via a heartfelt Instagram post shared on March 9, 2018.

"Today our hearts are broken in downtown Laurel after suddenly losing our magazine columnist, colleague, and #HGTVHomeTown crew member Brandon Davis. We are all reeling, stretch one of us, and I thing most devastated for his wife, toddler boy, mama, brother, and sister," she wrote.
